UT Arlington FSAE Competition July 25, 2009 Arlington, TX. Fun event and I'm glad I could help out along with taking a few pictures. It was pretty hot all day and there was quite a bit of humidity. The competition was very close in both the morning FSAE session and the afternoon Autocross session. I had a great time taking pics, this was the second event with the new lens and it seems to be working great. It was tough keeping up with the cars on the panning shots, they move, slow down, speed up and change direction so quickly! Even at 6 FPS, they cover a lot of ground between shots. I got some pretty good shots and a few came out really nice. There are 1558 images. I only edited 26 images, the rest are as they came out of the camera. I edited a few of the back lit shots at the start line in the morning, a couple in the late afternoon, I rotated a few to get the level just right and I cropped a few. If there is anyone else that took pictures and posted them on the web, send me an email with the link and I will post it on this page. Click a thumbnail below to load a group of thumbnails. I broke up the pics into 3 groups. When any thumbnail is clicked on the group pages to view an image, it will load a 1300X863 version, clicking the image will load a 1920X1275 version. This size should be large enough to make a full screen wallpaper on most monitors. |
