SCCA Solo National Tour - Bus Lot, Texas Motor Speedway, Ft. Worth, TX. May 3 & 4, 2008

Fun, fun event! Congrats to Brad Maxcy & Matt Lucas (Co-Chairs), their staff, and the SCCA National staff on a great event. The Datsun had suspension issues on Saturday that made it a real handful to try to drive and took it out of any possibility of finishing well. Also, the temps in the 2nd heat didn't allow the tires to ever heat up on the slick Bus Lot surface. Andy took the car home Saturday evening and along with John Garcia, worked on the car and it was ready to race on Sunday. It was probably 2 and 1/2 seconds faster on Sunday than Saturday. The 3 rotor Miata with us in EM was a beast and a lot of fun to watch. Pics 1 - 305 are from Saturday. Pics 306 - 811 are from Sunday. I got pics in heat 1, some in heat 2 between my runs and heat 3 from both days. I lost my work assignment on Friday, so I was working the 4th heat on both days and there are no pics from the 4th heat. Just click a thumbnail to view the larger image.
