Equipe Rapide SCC Challenge Cup #5 - Pennington Field, Bedford, TX. July 26, 2009 Fun event, good course and the car ran great after Andy replaced the head on the roadster. The weather was pretty hot and humid and took a greater toll on me than usual. Probably because I was already pretty tired from 11 hours at the UTA FSAE event the day before. It was great to see Ed K. able to come out and spend some time at the event. He is usually a fixture at all the SCCA and ER events, but has been under the weather lately. We're all pulling for you Ed, get better soon! There are 2715 pictures and they are 1300X863 as usual. I only edited 80 or so pictures, the rest are as they came out of the camera. I got some from all 3 heats, Andy and I ran during the 1st and 2nd heats, so I may have missed a few folks from those. I broke up the pics into groups, makes it easier for me to manage the files on the server. Click a thumbnail below to load that group. |

If you are the person(s), driver, co-driver and/or owner of the vehicle(s) depicted in any picture on this site, you may make a copy of it for any non-commercial purpose, royalty free. But, please do not link to it on this site (no hot linking, if you violate this, I will delete all pictures of your car on this site). Save a copy of the picture and post it elsewhere, there are plenty of sites that will host your pictures for free or a nominal fee. This helps save the bandwidth on my site so that I can afford to keep taking and posting more “free” pictures in the future. I try to get pictures of as many cars as possible and/or things I find funny or interesting, I also experiment with different camera perspectives and multi-shot sequences. If I missed your car, it was not on purpose. I get shots as I can while I am working my regular duties at the events and trying to race a car. Also, I am not a professional photographer; I do this because I enjoy taking pictures and this is why I post the 1300X863 (and larger) versions free without any watermarks. I now charge for larger resolution/formats of the pictures I take to help pay for the cost of the pictures/equipment and the site. |
